We highly recommend getting yourself over to London Studio website to see more of their excellent work. Here we have an lovely interpretation of their design Brief:
“To design the product packaging for New Zealand’s Rogue Bee range of honeys. The range was produced in small batches so using bespoke jars was not economical and drawing attention to the unique colours of each honey variant was a must. We knew that the packaging design must build the foundation of a brand and allow for future product line extensions so we opted for a bold, simple design that complemented the natural colour of the honey. A Rogue Bee brand mark in a strong key colour was developed to help the consumer find their preferred honey variant at a glance.” This design shows a great deal of promise, the main logo formed from the silhouette of a bee is both eye catching and modern, with the addition of some modern typography and bold colour palette it achieves a lot, however some here at PDB felt that there was still a little more development needed before it was a fully finished design. We also agreed that it would be nice to see the design extended through to a website and branding materials as this lovely little idea could really come to life. Link: London Studio website
